Ellen Cascino

Although I was born and raised in suburban Chicago, I consider myself a Minnesotan. My husband and I have lived in Rochester, MN since 1978 where we raised our four children.

I began taking beading classes at a local bead store and have a very large collection of beads.

We started spending time  in Mesquite, NV in 2001 and over the years I became involved in the fine arts gallery. Having no prior knowledge of painting or drawing, I enrolled in the watercolor classes taught by Char Lang. I instantly became hooked! I just love experimenting with the colors and how they mix on paper. 

I have taken as many workshops as I can in the Midwest and also through the Dixie Water Color Society in St. George, Utah. I have found a few wonderful artists on Instagram and You Tube. I am currently an active member of Gallery 24 in Rochester, MN.where you can find my beaded jewelry and watercolor greeting cards.
