It is a pleasure to be included with all the other great artists at Gallery 24. I have dabbled in art all my life, but since retiring from nursing 9 years ago, I have been able to perfect, change up, learn and sell my artwork. 

I paint with watercolor, acrylics and oils. New modalities like texture, fluid and clay will be next in my artbag!

My exhibit at Gallery 24 is pyrography ( fancy word for wood burning). I love to use watercolor paints on the wood because after varnishing the colors become more vivid and add more dimension. I have coined this modality " pyropaint".

When I lived in the Ozarks, I sold many fish, deer and cabin pyrography scenes. The use of various local woods enhanced the beauty of the artwork.  Stop by and check out my new North Country display!
